Important Changes and Upcoming Field Trips for Members

We’re excited to share some important updates and news as we head into a new year with the Austin Geological Society. At our May 4th meeting, AGS members voted to increase annual dues to $40 per year. This change will help us continue providing quality events, educational opportunities, and community outreach for our members.

Looking ahead, field trip planning is already underway! We’re exploring trips to several fascinating locations, including the Thrall oilfield, the Barton Springs multiport well, the Pedernales River, and Northwest District Park right here in Austin. These trips promise hands-on learning and great opportunities to connect with fellow geology enthusiasts. Stay tuned for more details in the coming weeks!
