Meeting Information
In 2020, AGS had to shift to meeting online. AGS now has a hybrid meeting format with the option of in-person at the Bureau of Economic Geology (BEG) or online via Zoom. The in-person meetings are held in the Multipurpose Conference Room on the first floor of the BEG building located on the University of Texas at Austin Pickle Research Campus. Additional

Date: Generally last Monday of August, first Monday of the month Oct-June*
* No meeting in January.
Time: 6:30-8:00 pm (unless otherwise noted in calendar)
- First meeting is usually an “ethics” talk (late August)
- May meeting is the election of officers.
- One meeting may be a poster session.

Parking
PLEASE NOTE J. J. PICKLE RESEARCH (PRC) CAMPUS PARKING RULES. YOU MUST PURCHASE A PAY AND DISPLAY PARKING PASS TO PARK AT THE PRC OR RISK BEING TICKETED.
After entering the PRC, find a “Pay and Display” station (see locations as yellow dots on the PRC map). Pay and Display permits are valid in spaces marked ANY UT PERMIT. Holders of UT’s “A,” “C,” or “Disabled” parking permits may park in spaces on surrounding streets, or in the parking lots to the north or east of the Bureau’s Building 130.
